Unconscious Streams

In this work the initial idea was the search for something meditative, and my creative journey was primarily guided by the continuous feedback loop between the written code and the evolving imagery on the screen. The outcome is a composition characterized by a large-scale continuous movement within a noise field, accompanied by a smaller-scale generation of the field's streamlines.

The lines materialize through convolution, with their recognizability varying based on certain parameter values. At times, the lines become distinct, while in other instances, they disintegrate into intricate textures. The final result sometimes evokes unexplored landscapes or seabeds, sometimes microorganisms swimming in a primordial soup, giving rise to the sought meditative aspect of the work.

The field's movement and flow exhibit a consistent and regular pattern unless the block mode is activated. In block mode, each new block mined on Bitcoin blockchain triggers a hash operation with the inscription id, generating a unique seed for the Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG). This results in a distinctive exploration of the parameter space for every minted piece.

The 'b' key serves as a toggle between normal mode and block mode. Upon activation, the cursor undergoes a shape transformation, providing visual feedback to indicate the current mode.
